Client meetings: All non-essential meetings should either be conducted over the telephone or rearranged for a later date.
Renewal instructions and changes in cover requests: We will endeavour to act on your instructions speedily, however we would request that you do not assume cover is in place until such time as you have received confirmation from us.
Unoccupied Property: Many businesses have had to close their premises or offices. Your Insurance policies all contain conditions which apply when a premises becomes unoccupied or the use of the property changes and it is a material fact that your Insurers are informed of any changes which are being made to occupancy, security and use. Please let us know if any changes are being made and wherever possible that contingency plans are put in place so that your properties can periodically be checked (at least once every 7 days), alarm systems are left fully functioning and all other Security and Fire systems left operational.
Wherever possible water should be switched off (unless a sprinkler system is in place) and any electrical or gas systems shut off where this does not interfere with essential services.
